Our Fremantle client had to replace their entrance-way ceiling which then required sealing and finishing. As experienced interior painters, we were contracted to achieve a premium finish to suit their character building. The space has a large cornice in the centre of the room and very high ceilings so we brought our portable scaffold equipment to ensure safe access for our team.
The job
Cooper & Sons was brought in to finish the ceiling of this character building in Fremantle. We started by preparing the surface which included sealing and sanding over the joins and screws. Then we applied two layers of white ceiling paint to ensure the finish was of a high standard. We also re-painted the walls for a thorough refresh of the entrance area of the building.
The results
Fremantle is known for its stunning historical buildings and homes, and we take great pride in restoring them to their former glory. Renovating a character building requires special attention to ensure the integrity of the historical space remains while protecting it for future generations. Our client chose classic colours and finishing to enable an understated and tidy result. Browse the before and after images in the gallery below to see the final result!
